The Sydney Australians of Indian Subcontinental Heritage (SAISH) has announced the launch of the inaugural SAISH Excellence Awards, a new initiative aimed at recognising outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in education, professional excellence and community service across Australia.

The awards have been introduced to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of individuals from the Indian subcontinental community while inspiring future generations to strive for excellence. Nominations are now open in three categories as follows:

1. Student High Achievement Award
   
2. Professional High Achievement Award 
   
3. Highly Reputable Community Service Provider Award

According to SAISH, the initiative reflects its long-standing commitment to fostering unity, recognising talent and strengthening community ties. The organisation believes that celebrating success stories creates opportunities for learning, collaboration and collective growth.

Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates who have demonstrated exceptional achievement or service in their respective fields.
