Dhyan Foundation recently hosted a community-driven Vegetarian Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings, bringing together volunteers and local residents in support of animal welfare.

Despite a forecast predicting a chance of rain, the event saw strong community participation. Light drizzle throughout the day did not deter visitors, with steady footfall observed through out the day ~500 visitors.

The initiative was powered by a dedicated group of volunteers who contributed across food preparation, customer service, and operations, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

The event successfully raised funds which will go towards providing fodder for animals supported by Dhyan Foundation’s – Karma Stories animal sanctuary initiative. A spokesperson for Dhyan Foundation expressed gratitude to the volunteers, supporters, and the local community, stating, “This event reflects the spirit of seva (selfless service) and collective goodwill. We are deeply thankful for the support that enables us to continue caring for animals in need.”

Dhyan Foundation Australia continues to work towards free of cost Yoga sessions for the community, Vedic Yagyas, animal welfare initiative through Karma stories , and community service through various initiatives across Australia and globally.
