First Sydney edition of The Great Artist Market reveals stallholder lineup at Manly Wharf

The first-ever Sydney edition of The Great Artist Market (TGAM) has unveiled its inaugural lineup of stallholders ahead of its debut on Saturday 2 May at Felons Barrel Room, Manly Wharf.

Following strong interest from the creative community, more than 40 artists and makers have been selected to take part in the one-day waterfront market, showcasing a diverse mix of original art, ceramics, fashion, homewares and handcrafted goods.

Marking TGAM’s official arrival in Sydney, the event brings its community-driven concept to Manly for the first time, highlighting a curated mix of both emerging and established artists from across Greater Sydney and the Northern Beaches.

Featured Stallholders Include:

  • Amy Blue – A multidisciplinary artist creating vibrant, expressive works that explore colour, texture and emotion

  • Daniel Stelmaszak (Poppi Sundaze) – Playful, feel-good artwork and design objects inspired by nostalgia, sunshine and coastal living

  • Em Hatton – Contemporary painter known for bold, feminine portraiture and modern figurative work

  • Emily Holmes (Emmy SH Cowboy Art) – Western-inspired artist blending storytelling and character through unique illustrative pieces

  • Ethan Robertson – Emerging artist producing dynamic works that explore form, movement and contemporary culture

  • Jem Nockles (Noc Noc Workshop) – Handcrafted design objects and functional pieces with a focus on materiality and craftsmanship

  • Leigh Karlstrom (Art by bAp) – Abstract artist working with layered textures and organic forms

  • Maggie James (Slapz Ceramics) – Playful, small-batch ceramics combining colour, humour and everyday functionality

  • Marta Cubeddu – Fine artist creating delicate, expressive works inspired by nature and human connection

  • Oliver Main (Oli Main) – Contemporary artist producing bold, graphic-driven works with a strong visual identity

  • Studio Evo – A design-led studio specialising in modern, minimal homewares and objects

  • Suzan Dursun (Nice Glass Suncatchers) – Handmade glass pieces designed to capture and reflect light in playful, decorative ways

  • Will Schubert (WS.CERAMICS) – Functional ceramics with a refined, minimalist aesthetic and focus on everyday use

The broader lineup spans a wide range of disciplines including illustration, jewellery, textiles, design objects and small-batch creations, offering visitors a unique opportunity to engage directly with the makers behind the work.

TGAM Co-founder and Felons Brand Director Dean Romeo says the response from artists highlights the demand for platforms that prioritise creativity and community.

“The quality and diversity of applications has been incredible. This first Sydney lineup reflects exactly what The Great Artist Market is about, giving talented independent artists a space to connect with people in a meaningful, real-world way.”

Free to attend and family-friendly, the market will run from 8:00am to 3:00pm, with visitors able to browse stalls, meet artists, and enjoy food, beverages and live entertainment throughout the day.

Set within the landmark Manly Wharf precinct, the event marks an exciting new addition to Sydney’s creative and cultural calendar.
