Granules Green Heartfulness Run (GGHR), Dehradun
For environmental conservation and the holistic development of life, hundreds of participants joined a worldwide run on Sunday, 16 November 2025, starting at 7:30 AM from the Heartfulness Dehradun Centre, Pondha.
In this Granules Green Heartfulness Run (GGHR), thousands of people enthusiastically participated across India in 119 cities, along with participants from hundreds of countries globally.
In Uttarakhand, the run was organized at Heartfulness centres in Dehradun, Roorkee, Haldwani, Haridwar, Kashipur, Rudrapur, Pithoragarh, Nainital, and others.
Every year, inspired by the initiative of Heartfulness’ global guide (Padma Bhushan) Shri Kamlesh D. Patel, Heartfulness extends a symbolic invitation to humanity for the upliftment of human values and to contribute towards making this planet greener and more beautiful.
For the year 2025, the theme of the run was sustainability, fertility, and resilience.
The run in Dehradun was organized under the guidance of Zonal In-charge Shri D. D. Joshi and successfully conducted with the support of Colonel K. D. Singh, Jatin, Ankit, Anagha, and many volunteers.
Through its initiative “Forests by Heartfulness”, the organization supports the United Nations’ Global Forest Goals (2017–2030).
The Heartfulness Institute is a global organization currently active in 160 countries, inviting people from all walks of life to experience its effective and free methods—such as meditation, cleaning, and relaxation—for stress management, environmental harmony, and holistic spiritual development. Millions across the world are benefiting from it.
Recently, an MoU has been signed between the Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand, and the Heartfulness Institute. Under this agreement, all DIET centres and 150 schools across the state will receive practical benefits through stress management and value-based education for teachers.
On this auspicious occasion, Uttarakhand State Coordinator Mrs. Chhavi Sisaudia invited all residents of the state to avail the free and effective Heartfulness practices.
