VIVID SYDNEY 2025 : All you need to know about the goods line and inner city

Welcome to The Goods Line and Inner City—where heritage infrastructure meets cutting-edge creativity at Vivid Sydney 2025. This zone is where tech meets storytelling, performance meets philosophy, and where Vivid Sydney’s most delicious, fun and thought-provoking experiences come to life.

Once a disused freight railway, The Goods Line has been reimagined as a pedestrian corridor linking some of Sydney’s most vibrant cultural, educational and media institutions. Stretching into Sydney’s Inner City, the zone also connects to Hollywood Quarter, Surry Hills, Chippendale and beyond—neighbourhoods known for their creative energy, small bars, art spaces and buzzing late-night scenes.

This year, the precinct pulses with light, music, fire and ideas, offering everything from surreal installations to free street parties and a free open-air festival of fire cooking at The Vivid Fire Kitchen.
