Overview

For the first time since 2018, Martin Place returns to the Vivid Sydney Light Walk—reimagined as a dreamlike playground of large-scale light installations, immersive experiences and not-to-be-missed music performances.

This vibrant CBD zone extends from Wynyard to Martin Place and Town Hall, with the glow of the festival winding through Sydney’s commercial core. Discover buildings transformed by projection, listen to a diverse program of music at City Recital Hall, explore powerful Ideas talks, workshops and film screenings and dine in new, immersive locations.

Whether you’re looking up, settling into your concert seats or stepping inside an exclusive experience, this zone invites you to see the city centre in an entirely new light.
