An Act of Being

Collaborators: Bangarra Dance Theatre / Reconciliation Australia

A projection blending contemporary dance, light, and truth-telling. Figures float across four screens, symbolizing 25 years since the People’s Walk for Reconciliation — a tribute to First Nations strength and identity.


Fantasmagoria

Location: Bond Building

A magical animated projection that brings a book to life. Follow a young girl into a fantastical world — a celebration of storytelling, imagination, and dreams.


Trispheric Garden

Location: Sea Wall Lawn

A surreal garden of sound, shape, and light, with six towering geometric obelisks. Wander through a landscape where reflection and perception blur.


Bon(d)fire

Location: Barangaroo Reserve, Walumil Lawns

Share a story, and watch it ignite into light and sound. This interactive installation merges First Nations storytelling with digital tech.


Lumina Dream

A glowing garden of raindrop sculptures, responding to real-time weather data. A living reminder of nature’s rhythms and sustainability.


Cygnus

Location: Nawi Cove

Twelve robotic swans glide across the water in an ethereal dance of light and music, inspired by mythology and accompanied by a haunting choral soundtrack.


SomniUs

Location: Stargazer Lawn

A canopy of 1,000 glowing rods reacts to your every move. An interactive dreamscape of motion, rhythm, and harmony.


Alchemy of Atmospheres

Location: Nawi Cove

Explore the transformed Nawi Garden — an alien dreamscape echoing the atmosphere of Venus, warning of our planet’s own fragility.


Fly to the Moon
