I have been attending inspiring events such as the 20th anniversary for multicultural mental health attended by the governor of Queensland Paul de Jersey and the minister of health Cameron Dick; and the opening of the domestic violence protection centre attended by the minister of multicultural affairs. Mingling with people of such note has allowed me to open larger avenues for my personal charity work. I have also has the opportunity to attend the Asia pacific screen awards with a special Invitation to the red carpet; the opening of the Indian film festival where I was lucky to meet Mr Abhishek Bachhan; the premiere of the film Unindian where I met Brett Lee and the closing ceremony of the British film festival. I plan to use all these connections to raise money for domestic violence, breast cancer and the Queensland protection for torture and trauma.”
