German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Pakistan on Monday to hold meetings with the country’s top political and military leadership, media reported.
According to Dawn online, Steinmeier will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and a formal chat with Sartaj Aziz, the country’s National Security and Foreign Advisor to the prime minister.
“Pakistan-German bilateral ties, regional security situation and Afghanistan would be the focus of discussion during the visit,” a foreign office source said.
