Director Sarvesh Mewara makes his debut with Tejas; how was the experience working with him?
I think he’s just incredible. He’s one of the best things to happen to the film industry. He comes from a non-film background, which I think it’s great. Having more and more people come from the outside gives a fresh perspective to films. Otherwise, films are becoming very insular, mainly produced in the Bandra-Andheri area. It’s great to see more people entering the film industry from different walks of life and backgrounds. His fresh perspective on emotions, films, and bonding with audiences is truly inspiring. I believe he’s going to be great because his first film is amazing. Going forward, he will only get better, and I’m here to cheer for him. I look forward to witnessing his great journey unfold in front of all of us.

What was your experience working on Tejas?

To work on the story of a national hero from the defence forces is a very big honor and a privilege. I am really flattered and the kind of love the film is getting from the audience, this is also very encouraging.

Tejas is being released on ZEE5 Global. How do you feel about the film reaching a global audience, and what do you hope international viewers take away from the movie?

It’s for us to have a homegrown international platform like Zee5 Global, which is doing exceptionally well, even the most viewed digital films were from Zee5 last year. And I think what kind of impression I would want people to take away from this is to see Indian Air Force with a sense of pride and, and what we’re able to achieve. As a young nation, in these many years of freedom is remarkable. It’s an ode to our defence forces . I want the whole world to look up to our defence forces and that’s the endeavor and Zee5 Global is providing us that platform where we are able to reach out to the whole world. This is incredible!
