Nominations open for the Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence

Victorians are encouraged to honour the remarkable people and organisations that help make our state a multicultural success story.

Victorians can be nominated for either paid or voluntary work, and award recipients will be honoured in a ceremony hosted by the Victorian Multicultural Commission later in the year.

There are 15 categories, covering Categories such as community harmony, business, education and early childhood, local government, arts, health and emergency services.

The awards also include the community response and recovery category – introduced in 2020 to acknowledge the remarkable efforts of those who have assisted during the response to the pandemic.

Nominations close Sunday 5 September, and individuals & businesses can self-nominate.
