CONOSH brings two world class restaurants to Melbourne for the Melbourne food & Wine festival

Conosh once again is bringing more exciting culinary experiences to Melbourne. Following its proven international success in India, and previous events with Gary Mehigan and Indian Accent in 2023, Conosh is proud to announce its involvement in the iconic Melbourne Food & Wine Festival Programme in March 2024.

Conosh will be hosting the famous ‘Indian Accent’ from Delhi, India, one of Asia’s Top 50 restaurants, in an extraordinary pop-up 9-course meal this time at Jessi Singh’s Daughter in Law in Melbourne CBD, Manish Mehrotra. On the other side of town at Crown Melbourne, Kelvin Chueng will showcase why his restaurant Jun in Dubai, has got the world media talking, presenting a 7 course meal, teaming up with Andy Evans at Spice Temple.

Chef Manish Mehrotra, Culinary Director, ‘Indian Accent’ Restaurants (Delhi, Mumbai, New York) says, “We are very excited to be returning to Australia, after the success of our event last year, and to be apart of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. We are very proud that Indian cuisine is being recognised on a global platform. At ‘Indian Accent’ all of us are glad to be contributing towards its evolvement. We hope the diners will enjoy the food and the experience.” Manish said.

Conosh has already brought exceptional culinary experiences to Australian tables since early 2023, collaborating with world-renowned chefs like Gary Mehigan. In April 2023, Conosh teamed up with Mehigan to host the first Chef’s table event in Australia at Scott Pickett’s ‘Matilda 159 Domain’ restaurant in Melbourne, where influential and high-profile guests, including celebrity chefs Matt Preston and Diana Chan, enjoyed an exclusive and private dinner. And in August 2023, Conosh presented Indian Accent at Tonka with a sell-out weekend.

Known for their commitment to creating unique culinary experiences, Conosh continues to impress by organizing successful Chef’s Table events around the world, with more to come in Dubai and Singapore in the near future. Recently, on June 12th and 13th, 2023, Conosh supported Chef Prateek Sadhu, Co- Founder of the award-winning Mumbai restaurant ‘Masque’, and his partnership with acclaimed Chef Nelly Robinson, Executive Chef and Owner of ‘Nel’ restaurant for Vivid Sydney. The dinner series featured epicurean dinners with a theme of celebrating childhood culinary memories and nostalgia, incorporating gourmet flavours influenced from around the globe.

These two unique culinary experiences will be one of highlights of the Festival’s programming, with both Jun and Indian Accent, now with cult followings in their home towns.. The menu will be matched by Brown Brother’s Family Wine Group, with Devil’s Corner and Innocent Bystander being showcased in matched wine pairings, and San Pellegrino will again team up with Conosh, to offer their Flavoured and Sparkling Waters for those who prefer sans alcohol.
