Riske beats Bencic to win Tianjin Open women’s singles

Tianjin (China), Oct 12 (IANS) American Alison Riske beat Swiss Belinda Bencic 6-3, 6-4 to win the women’s singles title at the Tianjin open tennis tournament here Sunday. It took the sixth-seeded Riske 80 minutes to overcome her third-seeded opponent in straight sets, reports Xinhua. It was Alison Riske’s first tour singles title.
