Few days back, there were reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be making her comeback on big screen with a Telugu film to be helmed by Mani Ratnam and now it is learnt that in the same film Shruti Haasan will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu.

A source said, “She is on board now, unless there are some last-minute changes. She will be mostly paired opposite Mahesh Babu.”

Well, Shruti couldn’t comment on it as she was busy with the shoot, but her manager said, “I wouldn’t like to comment except that she hasn’t been signed on as yet, so let’s not speculate. I am sure various actors are vying for that role. Obviously, she is interested.”

Talking about Aishwarya’s character, the source said that she will be seen playing a negative role. “You will see her in a new avatar,” the source said.

Aish has not yet spoken about her comeback, whenever we ask her about it, she answers, “If there were (any plans), I would have announced them.”
