The Prime Minister of Vietnam, H.E. Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, will make an official visit to Australia from 16-18 March as a guest of the Commonwealth Government.

Prime Minister Dung’s visit will underscore the strength and breadth of the Australia-Vietnam bilateral relationship and our trade and investment, education and people-to-people ties.

His visit is an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen these ties, as well as developments in our region.

Prime Minister Dung will be accompanied by a number of Ministers and a senior business delegation from Vietnam.

He will travel to Sydney and Canberra during his visit.

I look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Dung to Australia.
