“Manny Singh, Owner/Director of Keystone Fitness Club found himself obese weighing 110 kg in 2006. He could relate to anyone who was struggling with obesity. He was depressed, lacked confidence in himself whether he would be able to lose weight and get fit.
But then he started hitting the gym day after day. Though he didn’t have the confidence if he could lose weight but he used to push himself. Gradually he started seeing the difference. And in 2010 his hard work bore fruits. He lost 40 Kg and his weight came down to 70 kg. Since then he has become a confident, happier and healthier person. He exercises five days in a week. He has completed many runs including RUN Melbourne Half Marathon & ASB Full Marathon (Auckland, New Zealand).
He is a Certified Personal Trainer (Certificate III in Fitness/Certificate IV in Fitness). On a personal front, Manny is a person who believes that there is nothing bigger than our dreams. Though he suffered with obesity at one stage, weighing 110 kg and depression, he managed to combat his obesity and has become a fitness expert and an entrepreneur. He is also the President of the newly formed AIFA (Australian Indian Fitness Association).
Manny moved to Fitness Industry from a career in IT and worked for a largest Telco in Australia for seven and half years but his desire to live his found passion for health & Fitness and helping out the community to get healthy and fit made him start Keystone Fitness Club in 2016 with no background in Fitness. Scary at times but his passion to help others overcame all the barriers. His business mission is to change lives through exercise.
Keystone Fitness Club currently has two locations one in Upper Ferntree Gully and another one is in Craigieburn.
He has recently launched his first book “THE NEW YOU: 10 Strategies for weight loss and better health” to share his strategies what really worked for him and how he lost 40 kg and how can you do it too. The book was launched at Keystone Fitness Club Craigieburn by Hon Heidi Victoria (M.P)
