New Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS) Automobile major Tata Motors Group Tuesday reported a growth of eight percent in its global wholesale volumes including that of Jaguar Land Rover in December.

Sales last month stood at 85,742 units over the corresponding month of last year.

According to the company, luxury brand of the group Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) saw a seven percent increase in sales in the month under review, which stood at 42,962 units sold during last month.

The group’s global commercial vehicle wholesales which includes brands like Tata Motors and Tata Daewoo in the month under review grew by four percent at 30,597 units.

Global passenger vehicle wholesales of the group increased by 11 percent at 55,145 units sold in December, 2014.

Global wholesales of Tata’s own passenger vehicles rose by 29 percent at 12,183 units over the corresponding month of 2013.
