Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor in a prominent role and it was said that Tabu was approached to play an important role opposite Anil Kapoor.

However, it is learnt that Tabu is not doing the film and she had graciously declined it last year in October itself. The reason behind saying no to the film were the date issues. She will be seen opposite Manoj Bajpayee in an untitled film, which also start off this month end.

According to the grapevine, Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit were also considered for the role, but nothing is yet confirmed that who will be doing it.

Well, let’s hope that Zoya finalizes someone soon for the role.
