Small screen actor Siddharth Shukla is all set to make his big screen debut with Karan Johar’s next production, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’. The actor has impressed Karan so much that he gave him a three-film deal.

Karan and Siddharth met on the sets of a reality show, where Sid was the contestant and Karan was the judge.

Talking about Siddharth, Karan says, “Siddharth showed great promise during the show. I felt he has the potential to be on the large screen. Even Humpty… director Shashank Khaitan said that he felt Siddharth could play this role, which is integral to the movie.”

“He’s so correct for the character, I’m happy that he’s a part of our film. We’re looking forward to continuing the association beyond this one film,” Karan added.

Looks like Karan has a special connection with guys named Siddharth, as first it was Sidharth Malhotra, whom Karan helped to debut in B-Town and now it’s Siddharth Shukla, who will enter Bollywood with filmmaker’s production.
