In past, we have seen and heard about many celebrities accounts getting hacked. But this time it’s something different that has taken place.

Pakistani hackers target Indian websites because of the territorial dispute over Kashmir. And the latest celebrity whose website has been hacked is none other than controversy queen Poonam Pandey. Late evening on 26th January, the Republic Day, Poonam’s website was hacked.

The website www.poonampandey.in was hacked by some unknown person across the border asking to raise her voice for justice of Kashmir. Pakistani hacker with the code name “Madleets” also wrote ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ below. The actress went to BKC, Bandra Mumbai to meet Senior Inspector Nand Kishore More of Cyber Crime Cell and has lodged the complaint.

Poonam Pandey said, “I was shocked to know that someone had hacked my website. I registered a complaint in this regard. I want to know who the hacker is and why he maligned me. It is very stressful and hurting as it’s involved a national issue.”

Advocate Prashant Mali, Cyber Law Expert Lawyer of Poonam Pandey said, “We have filed a complaint of hacking under Sec 66 of the IT Act 2000 with the cyber crime at Bandra police station they are investigating in the matter.”
