Salman has got a brother, well not in real life, but in reel life. It is learnt that Neil Nitin Mukesh has been signed to play Salman’s younger brother in Sooraj Barjatya’s next, tentatively titled ‘Bade Bhaiyya’.

For the same role, Vidyut Jamwal was earlier considered, but the actor had said a ‘NO’ to star in the flick.

A source close to the film’s production said, “The makers have had lengthy discussions with Neil, who has consented to Sooraj in principle. But, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. That should happen in the next few weeks as Neil is really kicked about the film. Bagging a Sooraj Barjatya film could revive his career which hasn’t been in great shape lately following a series of duds.”

Neil and Salman playing onscreen brother might be bit strange, as both the actors look quite different. But, it is said that Neil will be playing Salman’s stepbrother in the film.

Another source said, “Neil is not the archetypal younger brother. His character is not negative but has shades of grey.”

It was said that Vidyut had not signed the film because of the grey shades that the character has.
