Ruchika said- “I launched “Roo and Joey” with a vision – “Blossoming Mums and Bubs!” The highlight of Roo and Joey is the reusable Eco fashion nappies and Eco toilet training pants. I am passionate about Environment. I believe in Sustainability to the core from Environment to Social to Economic. Roo and Joey is not just an online retail store, it’s more like a community built on these three pillars of Sustainability, creating awareness and ever evolving. Our ethical and eco-friendly products are sourced from developing world. Ethically sourced and providing economic support to families in the developing world. On terms of Environment, Roo and Joey is leading the change for switching to Cloth
nappies for many multicultural families locally and creating awareness for reducing disposable nappy trash in our landfills. On Social front, it has been contributing to the cause of Education for the underprivileged children in developing world by supporting various overseas volunteers. I firmly believe in the greater good- giving back to the environment, to the community and to my roots! “
“It’s very exciting to be a finalist. It is rewarding to get recognition for one’s hard work and passion. It’s an encouragement to carry forward my passion and zeal for Sustainable fashion,” she added.

Sustainability and giving back is the closest to my heart be it environment or to the community.” On being asked who she owes her success to; she says- My determination, passion and loving family. Without their support, I wouldn’t have come this far.”
