Seniors who pick up a copy of the latest Seniors Card Discount Directory can each access $1,000 worth of State Government concessions and business discounts throughout Western Australia.

Seniors and Volunteering Minister Tony Simpson said the directory would be available from local councils, libraries, electoral offices, senior citizens centres and other local government distribution points in coming weeks, or is available online now.

The discounts are open to seniors over 60 who hold a WA Seniors Card.

“Seniors make up a significant proportion of WA’s population and make an enormous contribution to our communities,” Mr Simpson said.

“The savings in the directory make it easier for seniors to stay connected to their communities, remain active and participate – all important ways to minimise isolation and loneliness.
