Hon Andrew Robb AO MP, birthday celebration to support Nepal earthquake victims

10 10a 10b 10c 10dMr Rampal Reddy Muthyala and Dosa Hut Indian restaurant Footscray hosted a Fundraiser breakfast for Nepal earthquake victims on the occasion of 64th birthday of Hon Andrew Robb AO MP, Minister for Trade and Investment.
Hosts welcomed the Minister and Mr Chandra Yonzon Honorary consul General, Nepal with floral bouquets. Rampal Muthyala gave the welcome address and introduced all the guests to the supporters.
Hon Andrew in his address thanked Rampal and DosaHut for hosting a breakfast for this noble cause. He stated that he could estimate the damage caused by the earthquake as he witnessed the NZ earthquake with same rector scale magnitude. He visited the base along with many construction companies’ bosses and they were shattered to see rumbles.

Australia contributed $20Million for the redevelopment of NZ Earthquake affected area. He further stated that he could understand the damage the earthquake has caused in Nepal that had death toll of thousands of people and many more thousands injured.

He thanked Rampal and friends for their compassion and organising a generous event to mark his birthday. He thanked Australian Indians for supporting the community hand in hand. He stressed on the relationship between India and Australia which is a key for the development of both the countries. Minister highlighted key points of Discussion with Hon Narendra Modi PM of India such as- India being a country with vast opportunities in terms of market share and Australia being a country with expertise and technology. He added , “We can help each other. Australia is keen to have FTA with India by 2016. With this agreements many Australian companies are keen to setup in India and offer the service”.

Hon Andrew thanked DosaHut for their great food and warm hospitality and their generosity in hosting the breakfast.

Mr Chandra Yonzon in his speech stated that he was deeply touched by the support and solidarity extended for the affected in Nepal by the members who attended the fundraiser. He congratulated Rampal and his friends for raising $8000.
Hon Minister and Consul General were then felicitated with flower bouquets and shawls.

Minister celebrated his birthday by cake cutting and everyone wished him a long life.
DosaHut served everyone with their signature and famous Dosa with fillings of Paneer, Chicken, egg and Masala. Idly , Vada, Upma with sambar and chutney. Burgers with Indian flavours was also served.
