On 4^th March 2017, Sydney witnessed a wedding reception like no other, that of Divya Dhingra and Gurjap Singh Kohli. It had everything from breathtaking Helicopter entrance of bride and groom, fireworks, Brazilian dancers with Samba drummers, an extravagant array of cuisines from all around the world, outstanding dance performances and entertainment by their family and friends, a towering 10-tier wedding cake, massive venue decorations fit for royalty as well as picture perfect image of their beautiful family rejoicing amongst 1500 of their friends at Rosehill Gardens.

It was the wedding reception of the century of bride Divya, who is the pride of Indian Australian community and a popular celebrity in the media. She is the daughter of well-known and reputed accountant of Sydney, Mr Gurpal Singh Dhingra and Mrs Rosy Dhingra. A recipient of multiple accolades, Divya was awarded “Youth Icon of the Year” by then premier Mr Mike Baird and was selected as the Master of Ceremony (MC) by then Prime Minister Hon. Tony Abbott at the reception for Indian Prime Minister, Hon. Narender Modi at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The groom, Gurjap, is a man with the heart of gold and gem of a character. He is the proud son of Mr Rattandeep Singh Kohli and Mrs Paramjit Kohli. As the financial expert on Zee TV Business channel providing business and investment advice as well as the vice-president of country’s leading banking institutional platform, Gurjap has a list of achievements to his name and is the epitome of match made in heaven.
