The Melody Queen Shreya Ghoshal is coming to Sydney!

She is the undisputed singing queen of Bollywood. She strikes gold with every song she sings for a film. From Devdas to Bajirao Mastaani, singer Shreya Ghoshal is now coming to Sydney to share her musical journey.

On 21 August, Cinestarr is bringing the singing sensation to perform at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. A pioneer in musical concerts, Cinestarr has been delivering successful concerts since 2004 by bringing high class artists like Asha Bhosle, Sonu Nigam, the late Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, Adnan Sami, Mika Singh and many more to Australia.
Shreya rose to fame at the age of 16 when she was discovered by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on a television music reality show. She made her debut with Devdas for which she received her first Filmfare Award and National Award. Today she is the winner of four National Awards, six Filmfare Awards and eight Filmfare awards South. She has also been awarded with the highest honour in London and by the U.S. State Ohio with a ‘Shreya Ghoshal Day’.

Ghoshal is known to sing in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi and Bengali. Her attribute to success lies in her choice of songs, she has always chosen songs with meaningful lyrics. Be it the classical ‘Baari Piya’, the sensuous ‘Jadoo Hai Nasha Hai’, the sweet ‘Piyu Bole’, the upbeat ‘Yeh Ishq Haye’ the emotional ‘Sun raha hai na tu’ or the melodious ‘Deewani Mastaani’, Shreya has proved her versatility as the reigning singer of Bollywood.
Shreya’s Sydney visit will be the first tour after her marriage to her childhood friend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya.
