Geoff Lee MP, Member for Parramatta today announced the opening of nominations for the 2014 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards.

“These awards help our local community to show its appreciation for all the great work seniors do for the Parramatta area,” Geoff said.

“If you know a senior that really stands out in making a difference to our community, I strongly encourage you to nominate them for an award,” added Geoff.

The 2014 awards will celebrate seniors for their achievement in six categories, including Community Service, Business and Lifelong Learning.

Nominations for the 2014 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards are open until Friday 28 February 2014.

The awards will be presented to celebrate 2014 NSW Seniors Week which is being held from 15 – 23 March 2014.
