Actress Sameera Reddy who got engaged in December 2013 will be getting married today. The actress will tie the knot with Akshai Varde, an entrepreneur who owns a custom motorcycle business.

It was earlier announced that the couple will be getting married in April, but it is learnt that a small wedding is being planned for today.

A source said that the duo will tie the knot in a private ceremony with few close friends & relatives and the venue is kept under wraps.

Sameera’s mother confirmed the marriage news, but didn’t reveal anything more about it and said, “I am in a puja. I really can’t talk at length now.”

A friend of Sameera revealed, “Sameera is over the moon, though Akshai stays virtually next door. Surprisingly, they didn’t even know that they stayed so close. Bikes forged the connection.”

When asked why the marriage got pre-poned, the friend of the actress said, “The wedding was slated for April but 15 days ago, Sameera and Akshai decided that they should tie the knot in January itself. Later this year, Akshai will be getting very busy expanding his business and has to travel a lot.”
