‘Fitoor’ is Abhishek Kapoor’s most ambitious project and reportedly for an important role in the film the director has approached Rekha.

The role was first offered to Sridevi but she rejected it as it has grey shades. The character is of Miss Havisham, a cold hearted, half crazy, rich spinster, who inhabits a rundown mansion dressed in her dull wedding robe.

According to a source close to the development, “Rekha has consented in principle but has yet to sign on the dotted line.”

‘Fitoor’ also stars Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur.
