At his weekly news briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah made it clear that any talks with New Delhi must include the Kashmir dispute, Radio Pakistan reported.

“Pakistan will also not accept any pre-conditions for talks with India,” the spokesman said.

The spokesman added that there is no proposal under consideration for a meeting between the National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting scheduled for September 15, Dawn online reported.

Security advisor level talks between India and Pakistan, scheduled for August 23 and 24, were cancelled as both nations reached a deadlock over Pakistan’s insistence to hold a meeting with Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders in New Delhi on August 23 despite India’s advice to the contrary.
