Public Warning from Fair Trading Commissioner Rod Stowe

NSW Fair Trading Commissioner Rod StoweNSW Fair Trading Commissioner Rod Stowe is warning consumers about the activities of Ms Sazma Rahman Parhin and the following entities with which she is associated – PCNTech and Solutions and www.pcntech.com.au PCNTech and Solutions is an online retailer of computers, peripherals and software.

NSW Fair Trading cautions consumers against buying goods from the trader due to the risk of significant delays in the delivery of products and difficulties in obtaining refunds for products not supplied.

From 1 May 2013 to date, NSW Fair Trading has received 147 complaints from consumers in relation to the conduct of Ms Parhin and PCNTech and Solutions.

The majority of complaints relate to the failure to supply goods within a reasonable time.

The trader has accepted payment for goods ordered via www.pcntech.com.au.

Payment is made by the consumer via direct credit into the trader’s bank account.

The majority of complaints show products ordered via the website are not supplied within a
reasonable time.

Refunds have only been supplied after intervention by NSW Fair Trading.

Consumers who have had prior dealings with PCNTech and Solutions and have not received the products they have paid for should contact NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20 or lodge a complaint at www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au or any Fair Trading or Service NSW Centre.

The Commissioner said consumers should not have to suffer inconvenience and stress associated with overdue goods deliveries.

“Nor should consumer agencies have to become customer service management providers to bad
businesses,” he said.
