Public celebration for Australian Cricket World Cup Squad – Monday 30 March

icc_logoCricket Australia will hold a public event for the Australian Cricket World Cup Squad at Federation Square in Melbourne on Monday 30 March, to celebrate its victory in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.The free fan event will take place at Federation Square at 11:30am

The squad will take to the stage with the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy before signing autographs and meeting with fans in attendance. Fans will also have the chance to hear from Australian Captain Michael Clarke and Coach Darren Lehmann.

 

The public celebration is the team’s opportunity to show thanks to the Australian public, which came out in force throughout the ICC Cricket World Cup to support the team.

Media arrangements

 

Interview opportunities with players will be available throughout the event. The media will also be provided a photo opportunity with the full Australian squad and an individual photo with Michael Clarke and the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.

What: Public event to mark Australia winning the ICC Cricket World Cup

 

When: 11:30am, Monday 30 March 2015. Media can arrive from 10am.

 

Where: Federation Square, Main Stage. Media need to enter at the river side of stage

 

Accreditation: To ensure access to the dedicated media areas for the event, media are asked to bring ICC Cricket World Cup accreditation.
