New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee Sunday congratulated the medal winners in the 2014 Asian Games and said their “achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication”.

In a statement, the president congratulated Rajat Chauhan, Sandeep Kumar, and Abhishek Verma for winning the gold medal in men’s archery compound team event at the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon.

He also hailed Trisha Deb, Purvasha Sudhir Shende and Jyothi Surekha Vennam for winning a bronze in women’s archery compound team event and Sandeep Sejwal for winning a bronze in men’s 50m breaststroke.

“Your achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.

“You have made all Indians proud and proved that hard work always bring laurels. My best wishes are also with you for more success in the future,” the president said.
