Oasis won’t be reforming: Arthurs

17Los Angeles, May 14 (IANS) Musician Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs believes his Oasis bandmate, singer Liam Gallagher would be the first one to tell him if the band was to reformed.

The 48-year-old reckons he would be the first to know if Gallagher brothers to put their feud behind and plan to work together once more, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Liam, 41, sparked speculation that the band was reuniting when he took to Twitter to individually tweet a letter of the band’s name every half an hour, sending the internet into meltdown.

“Everyone hopes it happens, but there’s nothing going on. I met Liam in the pub that evening he tweeted the letters spelling the band and he didn’t mention he’d done it. Next thing, reunion talk everywhere,” said Arthurs.

However, Arthurs refused to rule out the possibility altogether, saying: “Never say never.”

The band split in August 2009 after Liam and his brother Noel, 46, had a big fight backstage during a festival in Paris, France.
