On Monday, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian met with Consul-General of India Mr Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, to discuss new opportunities and ways to strengthen economic and cultural ties between NSW and India.

The Premier and Consul-General also discussed NSW’s burgeoning Indian community and the recent celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Indian Independence.

Premier Berejiklian re-affirmed the NSW Government’s close ties between India and NSW, in particular through the skills, experiences and shared culture from residents of Indian heritage.
