from the most stylish people who held some coveted titles and awards at

the gala event.

Miss Tanya Bali (Miss India Australia Winner)

How was the whole experience?

This experience was one that is going to last with me for a lifetime. I never thought I would have so much

fun whilst participating in such a nerve racking event. Every contest was beyond welcoming we built a

small yet, crazy family. At the end of the day it was more about supporting one another and building

friendships, winning was just the cherry on top.

What have you gained?

I have gained a variety of new friends from all over Australia and bank full of memories. The skills taught

to us by the choreographers at Swastik dance have imprinted themselves and have shown me how truly

difficult it is to organise such quantity of people. I’ve gained a sense of self awareness and a new found

confidence within myself.

How did you prepare?

I watched many pageants and shows, such Femina Miss India and past Miss India Australia shows to get

a good idea of what is expected from the contestants. I also spoke to persons associated with the

entertainment industry to gain better knowledge of what it would be like to receive that level of media

attention. During our week long training we were fortunate enough to engage in yoga classes every

morning, these classes helped me and the other contestants relax and learn how to calm our nerves before

the shows.

What are your future plans?

At the moment I am focused on preparing myself for the world finals to be held in Jamaica very soon. I

am also looking into small charities that I am able to make known to the public using my new title. In the

future I endeavor to continue with my charity work and see where this title can take me.

How life has changed?

I am slowly realizing what the title of Miss India Australia truly entails. Nothing drastic has changed as of

now, however, the attention I have been receiving has sky rocketed.  It’s something I’m going to have to

get used to.

There is so much I have gained from being involved in this pageant. I have learnt if you want to achieve

something in life it is important to be proactive and provide yourself with as much knowledge as possible,

preparation is extremely important. Confidence is the key, it is essential that you are confident within

yourself and what you stand for. Through this experience I have also met many new wonderful people

and made some great friends.

How did you prepare?

If you feel beautiful within, it shows on the outside. I focused on the target and did not let anything divert

my attention from the goal. I am a focused person and always know what I want. I ate healthy and did

regular yoga to keep myself fit and composed.

What are your future plans?

I am preparing for world finals in Kingston, Jamaica.

How life has changed?

My life has changed since I won Mrs. India Australia title. Though I am the same modest person feeling

the attention and praises is overwhelming, I am also enjoying every bit of it. But I also feel a sense of

responsibility as I always wanted to reach out to a larger audience to share my concerns and help as many

people as I can. So I feel I have got this great opportunity to move forward to my goal in life.

How was the whole experience?

In three words, it was a thrilling experience, extremely exhausting and fun. It has taught me a lot and it

forced me out of my comfort zone. I’ve met so many amazing people, my fellow contestants, members of

the artistic team and the MCs who were all such bubbly people and have influenced me in so many ways.

I always wanted to know what it would be like behind the scenes of the pageant world and now I got to

experience it for myself.

What have you gained?

I have gained experience which will definitely be beneficial for other pageants I might take part in. I have

learnt how to improve myself. Now I can see where I lacked and work on it for the future. Last but not

least, I have gained some amazing friends who have been able to share this experience with me.

How did you prepare?

There was a lot of preparation required for this pageant! I couldn’t have done it without my friends and

family, who either helped me pick out dresses or spread the word to vote for me online. There was

also the amazing Artistic team who guided, motivated and inspired us for seven days prior to the show.

What are your future plans?

I have definitely learnt a lot from this pageant, and it was a chance for me to see where I lacked. I will

take this is a positive way and work on myself and improve whatever I can. For the next year I would like

to focus more on my studies and try again or different pageants sometime in the future. I would love to

support my friends are they represent India/Australia internationally.

It has been surreal that I have won top three positions in Mr. India Australia and was awarded Mr. Top

amazing at the same time. It made my belief even stronger that everything is possible. It’s just a matter of

right attitude and perseverance.

A lot of good friends and amazing people I have connected with throughout Mr. India Australia Final. It

has given me an amazing experience being a contestant in the contest, more confidence in presenting

myself, performing as a Model and public speaking.

off very well as I have been fitter and feeling much stronger mentally.I went through a rigorous diet and

exercise regiment for a period of 4 months.
