Kangana Ranaut will be shifting to her new house today. The actress has bought a 4 BHK, with a terrace in Khar.

She use to first stay in Santacruz and later shifted to Andheri to stay with her parents. The interior design of her new house has been done by her ‘Queen’ movie director Vikas Bahl’s wife Richa and it is said to be exactly fit for a queen.

The actress says, “It took a year for us to get the Occupation Certificate (OC). Earlier, OC would be issued after people started living in the buildings. But according to the new rule, one can shift only after the OC is issued. I’m glad the wait is over and I’m moving in on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.”

The new house of the actress has been decorated in such a way, that it gives the feeling of cottages in Shimla and Manali.

“Richa has kept my personality in mind. So, there’s a fusion of mountain houses and old Hollywood,” Kangana said.

Kangana herself has got some artifacts from places across Europe. The actress has also designed a Marilyn lamp. It is learnt that there will be a house warming party next month.
