daisyIt has come as a shock that a Salman Khan starrer has performed poorly at the box-office in its first weekend. ‘Jai Ho’, an eagerly awaited film has failed to get good numbers at the box-office.

The film had a disappointing start with collecting merely Rs. 17.55cr on day one. However, it was expected that the film will surely show a jump on day two, but it didn’t jump at all. On Saturday, the film had a fall and collected only Rs. 16.25cr. As expected, on Sunday the film saw a good growth, but not a great growth. As per the early estimates, the film has collected Rs. 21.45cr on its third day, taking the first weekend total to Rs. 55.25cr.

The collection is totally disappointing and proves that previous releases of Salman were blockbusters beacuse they released on festive weekends.

After looking at the weekend collection we don’t have any expectations from the film to have some respectable numbers on week days as well. Let’s wait and watch whether ‘Jai Ho’ will able to be a ‘Hit’ or finally Salman will deliver a ‘Flop’ after three years.
