HOLI MAHOTSAV 2018, Incorporating Festivities of VAISAKHI and EASTER

RATH YATRA – street parade of chariots

The Holi is a true celebration of cultural harmony; on this day people from all castes and creed poor and rich come together smeared their face in colours. We have therefore decided to enhance the diversity of our Holi Mahotsav by incorporating the cultural celebrations of two other great festivals of Vaisakhi from the heart of vibrant Punjab and The Easter as these come around same times.
We welcome everyone to join our Holi Mahotsav, Vaisakhi and Easter that will take place in Darling Harbour on 14-15 April 2018 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

To keep the spirit of Holi Mahotsav, this beautiful festival of colours, friendship and harmony will be celebrated in Tumbalong park, Sydney by India Tourism Sydney and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia (Bhavan Australia). The event is a mixture of cultures, spirituality, entertainment and of course sumptuous vegetarian food and no alcohol.
Prominent location Darling Harbour was our obvious choice as it is a place where flow of people never stops. We have always made it free for everyone to join the festivities.
