Germany, Japan appeal to uphold Ukraine ceasefire

8Berlin, Sep 10 (IANS) Germany and Japan have called on all parties in the Ukraine conflict to comply with the agreed ceasefire.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida Tuesday voiced their concerns about recent ceasefire violations after a meeting in Berlin, Xinhua reported.

In addition to the German-Japanese relations, the leaders focused on developments in Iraq and the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
