Yesterday, three films had hit the screens, ‘Queen’,‘Gulaab Gang’ and ‘Total Siyapaa’. ‘Queen’ and ‘Total Siyapaa’ mainly targets at the multiplex audiences, while ‘Gulaab Gang’ targets at the single screens.

‘Queen’ started on a slow note with the occupancy of around 20%, but because of positive reviews the film saw a good jump in the evening and night shows. The movie has collected Rs. 2.20cr on day one, which is quite good looking at the number screens (800 screens) the movie has been released. We can expect a good jump in the collection on Saturday and Sunday.

While, ‘Gulaab Gang’ which released in around 1600 screens has only collected Rs. 3cr. The expectations from the film were high. It needs a good jump on Saturday and Sunday, to get a decent collection in its first weekend.

The third release ‘Total Siyapaa’ has only collected Rs. 1.25cr on day one, there are no expectations from the film to grow on weekend.
