Viraasat International Punjabi Film Festival & Awards (VIPFFA) to kick off from August 11

The second official press conference of Viraasat International Punjabi Film Festival & Awards (VIPFFA) was held on 23^rd July, 2016 at Maharaja Tandoori Cuisine. The organizers Deepinder Mann, Gurdeep Singh,Varun Krishna and Alex Singh among others addressed the media and eminent dignitaries present.

The team iterated that the purpose of VIPFFA is to recognize and promote talent and art in Punjabi Film & Music Industry. Over 30 celebrities from Punjabi music and film industry will grace the occasion. There will be music & dance performances in addition to the awards night and the business summit.

The festival will start on 11^th August with movie screenings and end on 13^th August, 2016 with the Awards Night.

Thursday, 11^th August,  2016 @ Village Cinemas, Werribee

3:15pm –  Badla Jatti Da

6:15 pm – Farar

9:15 pm – Gaddar

Thursday, 11^th August,  2016 @ Village Cinemas, Sunshine

6:15 – Mitti Na Farol Jogiya

9:15 – Eh Janam Tumhare Lekhe

Friday, 12^th August, 2016 @ Village Cinemas, Crown

6:15 pm – Vaapsi

Vaapsi is one  of the movies directed by Director  Rakesh Mehta , starring Harish Verma popularly known as Jatt Tinka.

The competition will be among short Punjabi films focussing on the theme, ‘Virsa’ and are welcome from all over the world.

On 12^th August 2016, an International Business summit will be held wherein Film stars as well as businessmen from both Australia and India will take part.

August 13, 2016 will be the celebration time i.e. the Awards Night when the winners will be honoured.
