Music is an art that soothes one’s heart and soul. Music is everywhere; in fact one’s day starts with music, from chirping of birds to the lullaby of the pleasant air at night, music is omnipresent. It is not surprising, therefore that, musicians are revered and respected all over for spreading the rhythm of life. The melodious songs and music they entertain people with, sheds away all their troubles and stress. One such man working towards this task of spreading music and thereby spreading tranquillity is, Harshad Soni.

Harshad is a renowned Indian singer who has been popular for his melodious voice and style of singing various genres of songs. Harshad started singing at the age of seven. A little boy at that time, with a melodious voice, he impressed one and all by participating in the inter school singing competitions. After receiving appreciations from the teachers for his natural singing talent he progressed further by learning to sing from his guru Shri Vinod Bhavariya, who initially helped in giving him a head start to his music career by introducing him to some of the successful local singers.

He not only impressed those leading singers and musicians through his beautiful voice but also audience who showed enormous interest in Harshad’s singing.
After his initial success Harshad decided to join music school to further his knowledge of Hindustani classical music and in 2004 he enrolled in to Rama Manubhai Music College in Anand where he commenced his vocal training and throughout his diploma course he was recognised to be one of the best in the class.

He was so dedicated to the music that he would come to the class early to practice ragas and some of the vocal techniques. A keen learner indeed!

After he migrated to Australia he started working with highly talented local artists and performed in many stage shows, entertainment events, Navaratri Garba festivals, religious functions and many other Bollywood music programs where he showcased his talent in his singing and performances. He became very popular as one of the best singers in Brisbane and he received a lot of appreciation from local Indian community members and leaders. This motivation led him to record a cover song “Samjhawan” which became very popular on social media. His cover song was appreciated with open arms.

Harshad is not only a great singer but also a talented song writer who has just written and composed his own single “Meri Raahein” which is releasing soon on all the major mobile music stores across the world including SAAVN, itunes, Google play, Amazon and all the major mobile music stores. Harshad is also famous for performing songs on the stage and engaging with the audience. He has sung and performed many popular songs of Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, Sonu Nigam and many other famous Bollywood singers.

He is also organising an entertainment night in Brisbane on Independence day where he will be singing some of the patriotic hit songs with other talented singers of Brisbane. He will also be paying tribute to the golden voice, Kishore Kumar by performing his all-time popular songs.

He reckons it will be a fantastic family fun entertainment night as Brisbane’s best bhangra dance group Sher-e-punjab will be performing several bhangra dances, there is an exciting kids DJ session and also a romantic couple dance session for couples to get involved and dance on some of the best romantic numbers of Kishore Kumar. Last but not the least Brisbane’s best Indian DJ “DJ Desi” will be setting up its desk with some of the Bollywood DJ dance tracks which is sure to make the audience groove.
