England to bat in fifth Test

England skipper Alastair Cook has won the toss and elected to bat against India in the fifth and final Test match here on Friday.

Liam Dawson and Stuart Broad were named while James Anderson and Chris Woakes were left out in the team by England.

India made a change, replacing pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar with Ishant Sharma.

India have already won the series and are leading 3-0.

India: Murali Vijay, Lokesh Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (captain), Karun Nair, Parthiv Patel(wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma.

England: Alastair Cook (captain), Keaton Jennings, Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow (wicketkeeper), Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid, Stuart Broad, Liam Dawson, Jake Ball.
