There was a buzz around that Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

But, at the trailer launch of his upcoming production ‘2 States’, when asked him about signing Ranveer and Deepika, he said, “No they are not finalized.” Karan didn’t revealed anything more about it.

The first choice for ‘Shuddhi’ was Hrithik and Kareena, then there were reports that Kareena is replaced by Deepika and few days back even Hrithik opted out of the flick.

It was also heard that Shah Rukh Khan has signed the film.

Well, Karan has announced the release date of the film; let’s hope that soon he announces the lead actors of the movie as well.
