Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia announces Holi Mahotsav 2015

10Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia announces its annual Holi Mahotsav 2015, the Grand Festival of Harmony and Friendship. This year’s added feature is the Interfaith Festival and Concert on Saturday 28 March 2015.

Everyone is invited to join the 13th anniversary celebration of Holi Mahotsav that will take place in Darling Harbour on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th March 2015 from 11 am to 7 pm.

Sponsorships, Stall Booking and expression of interest for folk and traditional cultural performances are currently active and open.

This beautiful festival of colours, friendship and harmony was introduced in Sydney by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia (Bhavan Australia) twelve years ago. Since the beginning they have been celebrating it in the most prominent location and constantly visited by people from every community: Darling Harbour.
“Darling Harbour was our obvious choice as it is a place where flow of people never stops. We have always made it free for everyone to join the festivities” said one of the officials.

The event is a mixture of culture, spirituality and entertainment. The music and dance performances will start on Saturday morning and will continue till Sunday evening.

Holi Mahotsav is proudly supported by Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, City of Sydney, Community Relations Commission and Incredible India (Government of India Tourist Office). Holi Mahotsav is a part of Living in Harmony of City of Sydney.
