Attack on Turkish magazine sympathetic to IS leaves one dead

imgOne person was killed and three others were wounded when a bomb exploded at the Istanbul offices of a Turkish magazine taken to be sympathetic to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, Efe news agency reported citing Turkish media on Thursday.

The explosion on Wednesday night at the offices of Adimlar magazine left a journalist dead and three others wounded, including the editor-in-chief.

The editorial policy of the magazine denounces Western imperialism in the Middle East and the Islamic world, advocating the need for an armed response.

Adimlar magazine had, for example, openly applauded the IS for assassinating an agent of the Israeli secret services.
